Bush-Brown Bust in Gettysburg, PennsylvaniaSoon after entering the Soldiers National Cemetery, you will see a memorial to Abraham Lincoln and the speech he gave nearby, known today as the Gettysburg Address. Dedicated on January 22, 1912, the low, semi-circular expanse of white marble features this bronze bust in the middle. William Saunders, who designed the cemetery in 1863, allowed space for a memorial like this at one end.Bronze tablets flank the bust by Henry Bush-Brown.
